Amadeus Consort

Amadeus consort is an ensemble that started its professional career in Salzburg in 1991, the birthplace of W. A. Mozart. They specialize in his work and works of his contemporaries J. Haydn, A. Salieri and so on. This Ensemble is a dynamic string quintet with two singers (soprano and baritone) who perform in different formations and on period instruments. All members are former students of the prestigious Mozarteum in Salzburg. The soloists in this ensemble regularly perform in the most prestigious European opera houses and the full ensemble has performed all over Europe, Asia, America and Africa. In year 2013 they toured Japan and recorded a CD with the works of W. A. Mozart and J. Haydn.
